Abstract:
Mining standardization is the specific application of standardization principles, methods and tools in the mining industry. The degree of standardization of mining work and the level of implementation of standards in mining determine the development level of a country’s mining industry. Modern mining standardization began in western countries, after hundreds of years of development, developed countries in Europe and the United States have established a relatively unified and complete mining standardization technical organization and standard system. They play a leading role in setting international standards in the mining sector. In the international standardization of mining, there is a trend of attaching importance to safety, environmental impact and application of cutting-edge technology. In the mining standardization work, developed countries pay attention to the construction of “technical regulations + voluntary standards” institutional framework system, promote the implementation and application of standards in a combination of government supervision and market mechanisms, and implement a standard management system authorized by the government, led by private institutions and participated by many parties. Mining standardization in China has experienced a slow development in the planned economy period to the rapid development after the reform and opening up, especially since the state established the legal status of group standards, mining standardization is developing rapidly in China, both technical organizations and standards have certain advantages in quantity and scale. However, there are still problems in mining standardization in China, such as insufficient overall planning and coordination, low level of internationalization of standards, and lack of standardization awareness. Therefore, suggestions are put forward to strengthen the research on mining standardization strategy, strengthen the overall coordination of mining standardization, promote the high-quality development of group standards in the mining sector, improve the internationalization level of mining standards, and enhance the standardization awareness in the industry.
