Abstract: This paper presents an overview of construction and production of the Sanshandao Gold Mine which is a trackless underground mine, designed in the early 1980's under China-foreign technical cooperation. The development methods, mining systems, equipments and techniques adopted are discussed in detail and can be referable for similar mines.
