Abstract: Synthetic evaluation of conditions for opening-up pit mining of coalfield provides scientific basis of decision making for rational exploitation and utilization of coalfield. This paper gives a synthetic evaluation model for this purpose, applying the sequential analysis method. With the model, synthetic evaluations was made for 7 open pit coal mines and the results conforms to reality.
