Abstract: The blasted chimney of Anshan lron and Steel Company is a reinforced concrete building of 120 m in height with narrow operation area and complicated surroundings.According to its structural characteristics,in order to ensure safety in directional collapse and collapse in predetermined direction,measures for controlling instantaneous structural symmetry and rationally choosing blasting cut out,central angle and so on are provided.
