Abstract: Based on explaining the content of coal industrial security from the perspective of economic security,the article constructs an indictor system and evaluation model for evaluating the coal industrial security and evaluates the coal industrial security in China during the eleventh five-year Plan period(2006-2010).The evaluation results indicates that during this time Chinese coal industry is secure basically and the industrial competition is the key factor that effects the coal industrial security.
