Abstract: Project evaluation is the important content of project management.The social evaluation of geologic survey project is a challenging subject.The paper carries out social evaluation by conducting scope variety matrix evaluation,efficiency evaluation and comprehensive evaluation.It can help the government in decision making concerning the investment and elicit other's valuable opinions on the improvement of project management.
