Abstract: The function of the large mining excavator’s ventilation dust removal device is to filter those containing dust in the air from outside into the machinery house,is to remove the heat generated by the electrical cabinet and various machinery through clean cool air out of the house. In this paper,working principle of the fliter deduster with self-clean function and dusting method are researched deeply from the consideration of excavator design ventilation dust removal device,and the reasonable design scheme is determined. Compared with the traditional inertial dust separator,the problem of dust in the house is effectively solved by the fliter deduster. And it has been successfully used in WK series heavy excavator.
