Abstract: In this paper, varios unfavourable influences of the traditional system of mining management upon the development of the country's mining industry are analysed. It is pointed out that must be guided by the market and must speed up the course of reformation of our mining management system, in order to achieve rapid development of our mining industry. Ideas are presented about how to bring our mining industry into the orbit led by market economy. possible effects of such measures, opportunities for reformation at the present time etc. are seriously analysed.
