Abstract: At present the collieries belong to dangerous industries in that accidents often occur. The situation of work safety in our nation is very gloomy. The theory and application of inherent safety is one of the front projects in the fields of safety in industry-developed countries. They are important and of use for reference to the safety work in coal mining industries. Based on the above intention, this article briefly discusses the relevant basic matters of inherent safety and Inherent Safety Risk Management etc.
