Abstract: The cyclic-flow technology has became an important technological developing direction in open-pit stripping and mining. This paper emphatically discusses the cyclic-flow coal transport system for deep open-pit including the coal transport technology and equipment, layout of conveyor tunnels, types of crushers and so on. The result of case research shows that using the cyclic-flow technology to re-place the single truck (or railway) transport could achive obvious economic benefit; the choice of the cyclic-flow technology is closely concernes in ore-deposit conditions and open-pit overall technical decision; the choice depends on the practical conditions
