Abstract:
China is rich in coal resources, occupies an important position in the world, the total resources of the world’s second. The distribution of resources is relatively concentrated, mainly in the Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Shanxi and Shaanxi and other northwestern regions, the performance of the North more South less, more than the East and the East less features, According to the coal, China’s coal is complete, from low-metamorphic lignite to high-quality anthracite are present, of which the largest proportion of bituminous coal reached 75%, lignite and anthracite, respectively, the proportion of 12% and 13%, although China’s coal Resource-rich, but the shortage of high-quality coal resources, and low-grade coal is rich in resources, with the eastern part of the depletion of coal resources and high-quality coal development, China’s development and utilization of lignite will become increasingly important.Eastern Inner Mongolia is the main distribution area and production area of lignite, lignite reserves are larger, but its development and utilization is facing a series of problems.Although Inner Mongolia’s coal production is the first in the country, Inner Mongolia has very little coal consumption, and a large number of lignite are transported to other areas, reducing the efficiency of coal conversion. With the development of modern economy and people’s attention to the ecological environment and the understanding of sustainable development, clean and efficient use of coal is more and more attention, especially low-grade coal. This paper focuses on the analysis of the distribution and development of lignite resources in Inner Mongolia, and analyzes the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats in the clean use of lignite in Eastern Inner Mongolia District by using STOW analysis. It is concluded that the development of lignite in Eastern Inner Mongolia is good. The advantages of internal coal resources, based on the existing conditions, give full play to the advantages of local lignite resources to promote regional economic development, while focusing on the introduction of talents in the field.
