Practice of filling cost reduction and benefit improvement project in Ashele copper mine
Abstract:With the wide application of backfilling method, it is more and more important to reduce the filling cost and increase the mine’s benefit. The material cost of Gobi aggregates and cement and underground filling charge in Ashele copper mine accounted for 91% of cemented filling cost. This paper discussed a series of filling cost reduction and benefit improvement project practices of filling pipe elbow modification, cement changing, cinder and waste rock filling, and tailings micro-cement filling to reduce the filling cost, which achieved remarkable economic and social benefits. It also had certain reference value for similar mines in China.
