Abstract: As our country’s economic entering “new normal” stage，macro policy gradually becoming specific of regulation and control，forced all walks of life exploring proper transformation and upgrading methods.This paper starts from the theoretical framework，analyzing the model of industrial transformation and upgrading，so as to deduce the suitable transformation and upgrading path for geological prospecting industry.Meanwhile， combined with the transformation and upgrading practical exploration，put forward 4 levels of transformation and upgrading of geological prospecting industry，that is process upgrading，product upgrading，feature upgrading，and cross-industry upgrading，thus providing transformation and upgrading recommendations for geological prospecting industry.
