    Study on oil source of buried hill in Futai Oilfield

    • By analyzing the characteristics of crude oil physical properties, group composition, saturated hydrocarbon chromatography, steroid and terpene biomarkers of the buried hill crude oil in Futai oilfield, it is considered that the buried hill crude oil has the characteristics of low density, low viscosity and low sulfur content; The group composition of crude oil is characterized by high alkane, high total hydrocarbon and low asphaltene content; Crude oil biomarkers have high ratio of planting and low γ Wax alkane index indicates that its parent rock was deposited in fresh water and weak reduction weak oxidation environment, and sterane isomerization parameter value indicates that its thermal evolution degree has reached maturity. It is a mature oil. Oil rock correlation shows that this kind of oil is related to the source rock of Es3 member in Chexi depression.
