Abstract:
In this paper, the wheel hub test is used to test the change of temperature field in the rolling condition of tire, and by using the method of calculation and experiment together, we confirm that the tire’s state in free wheel rolling is free rolling. The finite element analysis is carried out by the change of the temperature field of the tire under the wheel hub test. The results of finite element analysis are compared with the result of the probe temperature measurement. The data obtained from the theoretical analysis have strong consistency with the data measured by the probe method, so the reliability of the analysis method is relatively high. The analysis shows that the static pressure of tire has little effect on the temperature field of tire crown area, and the influence of tire static temperature on the tire side temperature decreases with the increase of static pressure. The overall temperature field of tire will increase with the increase of load.
