Abstract: In order to blast demolition of a 45 m high inclined brick chimney in accordance with the dumping direction required by the owners, through theoretical calculation, the chimney blasting cutoff correction angle is 14°, based on experience calculation and reference to similar projects, the angle of the cut central angle of 200°, the height of 1.2 m, and other blasting parameters were determined, and the corresponding safety measures were taken.After blasting, the direction and distance of tilt chimney collapse exactly match with the design, which has no influence on the building nearby, providing reference for similar blasting engineering.
