Abstract: Sulfur resources are the indispensable raw material for producing chemical fertilizers.They are related to national food security.As an important chemical raw material, they are related to the daily life of the people.Their safety and security are crucial to the economic society and the people's lives.Based on a systematic analysis of the source of sulfur resources and consumption, this paper delved into the trend of changes in the supply of sulphur resources by region and found that the overall supply has steadily increased and is expected to exceed 100 Mt by 2020 and reach 125 Mt in 2030.In addition, through in-depth analysis, the authors think that the use of sulfur for sulfur fertilizers and sulfur for sulfuric acid metal washing is a direct factor constraining the consumption of sulfur resources.The authors comprehensively predict the global phosphate fertilizer in the future by using two methods:per capita phosphate fertilizer application amount and per unit arable land area of phosphate fertilizer application amount.Finally, the authors analyze the global supply and demand situation of sulfur resources in the future and find that global sulfur resource consumption is slowly rising, and that the supply will exceed demand by 2025.
