Abstract: By taking roadway excavation and surroundings control in soft rock strata with complex geological structure as engineering background,a roadway surroundings control method was determined based on systematic geo-mechanical tests, including geo-stress environment, rock mass strength, joint fracture distribution, rock surroundings anchoring performance and so on.Then the surroundings rock controlling method combined with high-strength bolts initial support, broken surroundings reinforcement by grouting, supplement support with high pre-stress anchor cable was applied.It was proved that the method could make roadway surroundings in stable state by engineering practice and solve surroundings control problems in soft rock roadway with complex geological conditions.
