Abstract: The“conflict minerals”has aroused high attention of the international organizations these years.In this paper, we would focus on the origin of“conflict minerals”, the regulation program from the international community and their effects.The results show that rigid enforcement of the“conflict minerals”regulations would bring great impact and challenge to the core aspects of the supply chain in Chinese mining industry, even the down-stream enterprises.Therefore, we believe that our further strategies should be made as follows:to establish the information gathering and releasing mechanism led by the government as soon as possible; to strengthen cooperation and information exchanging among domestic related enterprises and the government; to set up the notification mechanism for the regulators who participate in the“conflict minerals”regulation to get the information actively; to gain the right of“conflict minerals”monitoring for China and vindicat the Chinese image as a respectable country.
