Abstract: This paper puts forward the concept of green mining development and green mining development index, and analyzes the significance of constructing green mining development index.On the basis of analyzing the green development structure of mining industry, the framework of green mining development index system is constructed from four aspects:resource conservation, environmental friendliness, transformation and development, safety and harmony.This paper uses expert consulting method and analytic hierarchy process method to measure the index weight, puts forward the calculating method for standardization and index.The index system is of great importance to guide the transformation of the concept of mining development, promote the construction of ecological land and improve the quality of mining industry by evaluating the green development level of China’s mining industry.
