Abstract:
In China,the underground space resources of coal mines are abundant.This paper estimates the newly formed underground space resources from 2014 to the first half of 2018,and analyzes their spatial distribution.It is estimated that from 2014 to the first half of 2018,the newly formed available underground space resources are 3.385 billion m
3 in China,among which the availiable underground space resources of closed mines are 131 million m
3,and the available underground space resources of working face formed by coal mining are 3.254 billion m
3.The provinces with more underground space resources due to the closure of coal mines and coal mining are Shanxi province,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,Shaanxi province,Guizhou province,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,etc.The available underground space resources of newly forming by coal mining are mainly distributed in Northeast China,North China,Northwest China.
