Abstract:
In the southern Songliao basin, a set of dark mud shale with semi-deep lacustrine sediments was found in the K
1q
1 formation, where the organic matter is rich and the partial sapropelic organic matter has a moderate degree of thermal evolution. There are a large number of mud shale hydrocarbon anomalies, and the logging response is obvious and it is a favorable formation for shale gas study.Based on the research on the basic geological conditions of reservoirs, the gas-bearing and plane distribution characteristics of shale are comprehensively analyzed by means of geophysical, well logging and desorption experiments. The favorable section prediction and resource calculation for the K
1q
1 formation show that the region has rich potential of shale gas resources and meets the requirement of gas content in the continental shale gas formation and is a favorable target area for further breakthrough in shale gas exploration.
