Abstract: Oil and gas geological survey is a newly developed area of the Ministry of Natural Resources.2D seismic as one of its main means, it is urgent to work out corresponding budget quota standard to standardize the use of financial funds.On the basis of the work connotation and development course of the 2D seismic, this paper points out the difference between oil company and the geological survey.By analyzing the cost structure of 2D seismic and the common forms of accounting, it is suggested that the budget standard of 2D seismic in oil and gas geological survey should not completely copy the budget quota of oil companies, and should be formulated in combination with the characteristics of oil and gas geological survey.
