Abstract: With the advent of the era of big data and the era of knowledge services, the massive geological data information resources have been completed, and the era of big data of geological data is coming.However, the traditional geological data service model is more and more difficult to meet the needs of users, and the transformation of geological data information services into knowledge services is imperative.This paper analyzes the concept and necessity of geological data knowledge service, points out that geological data knowledge service will become the new normal, proposes the strategy of transforming geological data to knowledge service, and puts forward suggestions for the transformation of geological data to knowledge service from multiple angles.
