Abstract:
3D software was used to establish the 3D geological models of Tanzania gold deposit in this paper, and geostatistics was applied to estimation of block model, and provide referrences and data support for future exploration and mining activities.Geological database of the deposit, topographical DTM, geological models were set up, 3D space was recreated for storing all related geology data.Based on geostatistics, exploration samples were composited and statistically analyzed which provided the basis to determine the setting of cut-off grades for multiple indicator Kriging(MIK) method. After all parameters including block size, search distance and estimation samples were upgraded, related attributes were estimated by MIK.Compared to the traditional block method, IDW method, ordinary Kriging method results, the MIK method with adjusted parameters optimize resource estimation results with higher accuracy.
