Abstract: Natural resources are the central elements, energy source and space carrier of economic and social development, which have the overall strategic foundation and irreplaceable function in the high-quality development of the economy and society.This paper combs the theoretical basis, achievements of high-quality development in the field of natural resources, analyzes the main problems that restrict the high-quality development of natural resources field, such as the lack of disordered supervision on the development and utilization of ecological deterioration and so on.The key paths and directions to promote the high-quality development of natural resources are put forward, such as the construction of natural resources investigation and evaluation system, natural resources spatial governance system, natural resources supervision and protection system, etc.
