Abstract: 2020 is the final year of The Action Scheme of Prospecting Breakthrough Strategy (2011-2020).In the past ten years, the implementation of the action of prospecting breakthrough has made the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region achieve a major breakthrough in prospecting.More than 100 large and medium-sized mineral fields have been newly discovered, and the reserves of some new mineral resources have increased by about 10 times, forming a number of energy resource bases, providing resource guarantee for the high-quality economic development of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.The experiences are:coordination and linkage, policy support as the basis; strengthening guidance, integrated exploration and centralized exploration as the starting point; actively promoting comprehensive exploration and comprehensive evaluation, improving resource utilization efficiency; implementing the new idea of ecological civilization construction, actively adjusting exploration structure layout; supporting national energy and resource security, highlighting clean energy exploration.However, there are still some shortcomings:the new mechanism of geological prospecting needs to be further improved; the investment in geological exploration is decreasing year by year, and the effect of integrated exploration is poor; the innovation of geological science and technology is insufficient, and the structure of professional talents is unreasonable; the construction of ecological civilization is further promoted, which puts forward new requirements for geological exploration.In this process, the autonomous region has continuously innovated the mechanism and formed a diversified investment pattern of geological exploration.During the 14h Five Year Plan Period, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will unswervingly implement the new development concept, take demand as the driving force, take problems as the guidance, and strive to achieve a new round of major breakthroughs in geological prospecting.
