Abstract:
To investigate the impact of environmental regulation on the green development of Shaanxi's energy development industry, the paper uses EBM-GML index to calculate the green total factor productivity of energy development industry in Shaanxi province from 2008 to 2018, and empirically tests the impact of environmental regulation on green total factor productivity of energy development industry based on the nonlinear comprehensive FGLS model.The results show that the green efficiency level of energy development industry in Shaanxi province is low on the whole, but fluctuates on the rise.The impact of environmental regulation on the change of green TFP and green efficiency of energy development industry shows a u-shaped relationship, and environmental regulation promotes the improvement of green TFP through technological innovation and FDI, but not through the upgrading of factor structure and industrial structure.In view of this, on the one hand, we should ensure the green investment of energy development industry through formulating reasonable environmental regulation intensity; on the other hand, we should encourage enterprises to carry out green technology research and development through relevant financial support measures, so as to realize the green development of energy development industry through innovation.
