Abstract:
Coal resource-based cities provide important resources and energy support for Chinese economic development. It is of great practical significance to study the experience-based transformation of resource-based cities to adjust the regional economic structure, ensure social stability, and improve the environment.By using the methods of literature review and empirical analysis, this paper studies the common problems faced by the transformation of coal resource-based cities in eastern China, and summarizes the "Xuzhou Jiawang model" of urban transformation based on the experience of transformation exploration in Jiawang, which mainly includes three paths:amplifying the positive external effect, persisting in the integration of mining and land for a long time, and vigorously building the resilience of social ecosystem in mining areas. The results show that the common problems of transformation and development of coal resource-based cities are interrelated and affect each other, which is a systematic problem, and systematic thinking must be introduced. The mining areas in eastern China are generally densely populated, and the most common characteristics are developed agriculture and water accumulation. The social, economic, ecological and environmental problems caused by coal mining are basically the same. The transformation development mode is worth learning from each other.
