Abstract:
The coordinated development of economy, society and ecology are the core connotation of the transformation of resource exhausted cities. This paper takes 24 resource exhausted cities as the research object, and calculates the comprehensive index and coordination degree of the "economic, social and ecology" compound system in cities from 2008 to 2017.The results show that the comprehensive index of the compound system is in the middle level, showing a slow upward trend, and maintaining the spatial characteristics of higher in the east, followed by the middle, and lower in the northeast and west; the coupling coordination degree of the compound system increases slowly in the primary coordination state, and its spatiotemporal evolution characteristics are highly consistent with the comprehensive index of the compound system; the overall level of the compound system is good, but the internal operation of the system is poor, and there is still much room for improvement; the economic subsystem and social subsystem of some cities in northeast China, the social subsystem and ecological subsystem of some cities in central China are deteriorating, and the three major subsystems in western China are improving, but the speed is slow and the level of each subsystem is low.The results show that the effectiveness of national support policies is becoming more and more obvious, but the transformation of resource exhausted cities still has a long way to go.In the future, we should implement policies according to the development characteristics and existing problems of various cities to achieve accurate transformation.
