岩溶碳汇对“碳达峰、碳中和”的意义
The significance of karst carbon sink for “carbon peak and carbon neutrality”

摘要: 碳酸盐岩是地球最大的碳库,碳酸盐岩风化驱动碳循环被证实能有效的降低空气中CO2浓度增加。我国是岩溶大国,岩溶分布面积占国土面积的三分之一,岩溶碳汇研究取得了系列突破性成果,作为助力“碳中和”的重要途径纳入国家“双碳行动”顶层设计,然而人们对其认知较少。本文通过总结历年岩溶研究成果,从岩溶碳汇的机理、岩溶碳汇发展历程和研究进展3方面,介绍岩溶碳汇对“双碳”目标的重要意义。Abstract: Carbonate rock is the largest carbon sink on earth. Carbonate Weathering related carbon sink is listed as one of four carbon dioxide removal methods in AR5 report. Karst covers approximately 35% of the total area of China. The national carbon sink from carbonate rock weathering in new model is 0.051 Pg C/a, Karst carbon sink have been included in the national “Double Carbon Actio” plan as an important way to achieve carbon neutrality. This paper introduces the concept of karst carbon sink from three aspects: the development history, controlling mechanisms and research progress of karst carbon sink in China.
