天然气行业甲烷排放及其减排应对现状:基于文献调研的分析

    The status quo of methane emissions in the natural gas industry and the response to its emission reduction:literature-based analysis

    • 摘要: 甲烷是一种增温潜势比二氧化碳更强的温室气体,能源活动中煤炭及油气开采过程是甲烷排放相对集中的领域。随着能源低碳转型的推进,天然气产业链已成为能源活动甲烷排放增量的主体,甲烷排放问题也成为制约天然气行业高质量发展的瓶颈。为有效解决该问题,需对天然气行业甲烷排放的相关问题进行全面深入的研究。因此,本文全面梳理了天然气行业甲烷排放来源认识、核算评估和减排方式三个方面的国内外文献。首先,明确了不同类型天然气及产业链不同环节的甲烷排放源,挖掘该问题的重要性及研究的必要性;其次,从自底向上和自顶向下两个方面梳理了天然气行业甲烷排放的核算研究,分析不同类型方法的应用特点,评估排放规模;最后,以技术和政策两个方面为切入点梳理天然气行业甲烷减排方式,分析其应用现状及减排效果。通过对上述三方面文献的梳理与分析,明确了天然气行业甲烷排放现有研究的可借鉴之处及不足,并针对其不足给出未来研究的建议,从而有效应对天然气行业甲烷排放所带来的诸多挑战。

       

      Abstract: Methane is a greenhouse gas with a higher potential for warming than carbon dioxide.Coal, oil and gas extraction are energy sources with relatively concentrated methane emissions.With the advancement of low-carbon energy transformation, the natural gas industry chain has become the primary contributor to the rise in methane emission from energy activities, and the methane emission problem has become a bottleneck impeding the high-quality development of the natural gas industry.It is vital to do comprehensive and in-depth study on relevant issues of methane emissions in the natural gas industry in order to effectively address this issue.Therefore, this paper examines domestic and international literature on three fronts:understanding of methane emission sources in the natural gas industry, accounting and evaluation, and emission reduction strategies.Firstly, the methane emission sources from various types of natural gas and different links in the industrial chain are clarified, along with the significance of mining this issue and the need for more study.Then, the accounting research of methane emissions in the natural gas industry are studied from bottom-up and top-down viewpoints, the application characteristics of different types of methodologies are examined, and the emission scale is estimated.Finally, means of methane emission reduction in the natural gas industry are sorted out and their application status and emission reduction impacts are studied as well form the perspectives of technology and policy.Through the review and analysis of the aforementioned three aspects of the literature, the reference points and shortcomings of the existing research on methane emissions in the natural gas industry are clarified, and recommendations for future research are given to successfully meet the challenges posed by methane emissions in the natural gas industry.
