Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region have completed the summary and evaluation of The Action Scheme of Prospecting Breakthrough Strategy of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (2011-2020) in the first half of 2021.Over the past decade, the central government, regional province, and social tripartite linkage have made significant progress in basic geological survey, mineral exploration, and scientific and technological innovation.Some major basic geological problems in geological prospecting and ecological civilization construction have been solved.34 large and medium-sized mineral deposits are found in coal and predominant nonmetal mineral resources, adding 68.58 billion tons and 121.72 billion tons of additional resources in coal and limestone, magnesium dolomite, gypsum, silicalite and salt rock, respectively, which provides resource guarantee for social and economic development, energy industry and industrial transformation of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.The joint efforts of production, learning and research and team building have been actively carried out, and major breakthroughs have been made in many key technologies.Good experience has been achieved in strengthening organizational leadership, organizational coordination, policy formulation, and linkage.At the same time, there are some deficiencies or new problems in the aspects of mechanism and system reform, ore exploration team structure, the coordinated of resource development and ecological protection, the balance of mining structure.Finally, some understandings and suggestions are put forward for these problems and deficiencies, as well as the future direction and prospect of geological work in Ningxia.
