Abstract:
Because of the two characteristics of mud-tailings reservoirs in the karst area, fine particle size of tailings and complex geological conditions, mud leakage accidents have occurred frequently in recent years. The leakage accident of the mud-tailings reservoirs in the karst area, which the mud is discharged to the surrounding water system through the karst channel, resulting in pollution of rivers, ponds, springs, etc., has a extremely bad negative effects and great economic losses on the ecological environment and residents around the reservoir site. How to effectively deal with or even avoid such an accident has become a matter of close concern to engineering technician, mining enterprises and local governments, and also poses a great challenge to the design, construction and management of the mud-tailings reservoir. Aiming at the leakage characteristics and emergency disposal difficulties of mud-tailings reservoirs, the key points of mud leakage in the full life cycle from construction to operation are systematically studied, which including geological survey, karst treatment, emergency management system, Leakage point disposal and emergency pool construction. New concept of emergency disposal management of mud-tailings reservoir leakage are put forward combined with the relevant experience generalized and accumulated in the construction and management of mud-tailings reservoir in recent years, and draws on the experience of industry experts in emergency disposal of mud-tailings reservoirs. Through the engineering case, the key points and difficulties of the emergency disposal management of mud leakage in the mud-tailings reservoir are clarified, as well as the ideas and methods that can be referred to in the specific practice process, which has great practical significance for improving the emergency disposal management level of the mud-tailings reservoir and resolving the risk of mud leakage.
