Abstract:
In order to solve the problems of low coal resource recovery rate, tight mining succession, and coal pillar stress concentration, with the goal of reducing costs, improving efficiency, and ensuring safe production, a study on no coal pillar mining with roof cutting and entry retaining is carried out in the 11004 working face of Rongkang Coal Mine.Based on the theory of “cutting top short arm beam”, the technological process of the no pillar mining in Rongkang Coal Mine is proposed. On this basis, the roof cutting parameters of the experimental working face are designed through theoretical analysis, and the key parameters of roof pre splitting blasting, roof reinforcement support, and dynamic pressure area reinforcement support are determined. The discrete element numerical simulation method is used to verify the effects of roof cutting and roadway retaining. And conducted on-site engineering tests and monitored the stress on the support structure and the deformation of the surrounding rocks. The results show that the pressure relief effects of using the new no coal pillar mining technology is obvious, and the deformation of surrounding rock is small. The retaining entry can meet the requirements of safety production.
