Abstract:
In view of the large amount of fine particle sulfur loss below 23 μm in copper tailings of a Cu-S mine, the scale-up continuous experimental research on the flotation recovering of fine particle sulfur with the scale of 1.0-1.5 t/h is carried out by applying the fine flotation equipment of BGRIMM.The test results show that while the content of sulfur in raw ore is 8.25%, the sulfur concentrate produced by the flotation process of two roughing, one scavenging and two cleaning can contain 45.40% of sulfur, and the sulfur recovery reaches 85.30%.The concentrate is dominated by fine sulfur minerals, realizing the effective recovery of fine sulfur.
