Abstract: Based on the investigation of landscape resources protection of the Qixingyan, Guanyan, Chuanshanyan, Ludiyan and Lianhuayan of the important show caves in Guilin Lijiang Scenic Area. The results show that due to the lack of protection measures in the process of development and tourism, and the reasons of the cave itself, caused some of the show caves are suffering from aging problems of various degrees, such as stalactite peeling-off and chipping-off, sand-like weathering, color blackening or darkening, and damaging by light plants. The aesthetic value of the landscape reduces, threatening the tourism life of cave resources. In order to solve these problems, puts forward the following suggestions for cave protection and utilization, to provide scientific reference for the protection and utilization of tourist caves.
