Abstract: The Wohushan basalt in Changle is produced in Yaoshan Formation of Linqu Group in Cenozoic Era, lithology is mainly olivine basalts, it is a high quality raw material for the production of building stone. On the basis of collecting and analyzing the previous regional geological exploration data, the ore-body characteristics, ore quality and mining technical conditions of the Wohushan basalt mine in Changle are analyzed by means of drilling and rock testing. The Wohushan basalt meets the Class I standard in the current building stone exploration code, and belongs to the ore deposit with medium mining technical conditions mainly due to environmental geological problems.
