Abstract: The 22105 working face is located in the 22nd coal mining area of the Haragou Coal Mine. The width of the working face is 251.8 m, the advancing length is 1 920.5 m, and the mining area is 484 000 m². The coal thickness is 1.6-2.4 m thick, with an average thickness of 1.8 m and an inclination angle of 1°-3°. The overall mining is on a straight slope, with local undulations. A detailed analysis is conducted on the initial pressure and periodic weighting step distance of the working face, and the problems encountered during the mining process and their solutions are elaborated in detail. It has guiding significance for the future mining of similar fully mechanized working faces.
