Abstract: The standard system is a scientific organic whole formed by the standards within a certain range based on their internal relationships, providing significant technical support for the development of various fields. To carry out the management of mineral resources assets is a critical path for further implementing the provisions of the “Mineral Resources Law of the People’s Republic of China” on the ownership of mineral resources and safeguarding the rights and interests of resource assets. In the field of mineral resource assets management, constructing the standard system for mineral resource assets management is the core of the research and an important measure to support a new round of prospecting breakthroughs, which has crucial guiding significance for the evaluation and accounting of mineral resource assets. Under the guidance of the current “Natural Resources Standard System” and “Natural Resources Investigation and Monitoring Standard System （For Trial Implementation）” and other important top-level design, this paper utilizes the standardization theory, methods and principles of standard system construction, and combines the existing research results of mineral resource assets management to carry out standardization research on mineral resource assets management, mineral resource reserves management and achievement data management. Additionally, under the framework of administrative logic and technical logic of mineral resources standardization, in terms of a specific mineral resource asset, the standard system of mineral resource assets management in China is constructed from three perspectives and levels: basic universality, category universality and sub-category specialization. The establishment of the standard system can further strengthen the leading role of it in the standardization of mineral resource assets management in China. On this basis, through the analysis of the standard system framework, the future research focus of the compilation and revision of mineral resource assets management standards is clarified. Meanwhile, combined with the application practice of mineral resource assets management, it will constantly optimize and adjust to improve the balance of the standard system of mineral resource asset management, thus to comprehensively and dynamically guide the development of mineral resource assets management in China.
