Abstract:
Firstly, the international economic situation and geopolitical risks are analyzed, and it is pointed out that mining investment is a long-term investment which needs to pay more attention to long-term changes in the international environment. Secondly, starting from the development situation of the superposition of the “four periods” (the adjustment period of economic globalization, the transformation period of the development mode, the active period of technological innovation, and the change period of global pattern), an in-depth analysis is made of change on a scale unseen in a century. On this basis, the impact of changes in the international situation and environment on the mining industry is expounded from three aspects: the demand for mineral products, the rapid evolution of changes in the mining industry, and mining-related risks. Finally, it is proposed that at the national level, open cooperation and mutual benefit should continue to be promoted; at the enterprise level, Chinese mining enterprises should further strengthen strategic research, continuously enhance their international operation capabilities, and improve their risk awareness and risk management capabilities.
