Abstract:
After years of exploitation, the grade of copper ore in the Pulang Copper Mine operated by Yunnan Diqing Non-ferrous Metals Co., Ltd. has been continuously declining and fluctuating significantly. To ensure stable production and maximize the recovery rate of copper concentrate, it is necessary for the performance of equipment to the flotation process to meet production demands. As one of the main complementary equipment to the flotation process, the automatic dosing system’s ability to add reagents and its dosing regimen directly affect the mineral processing indicators. To stabilize production and eliminate or reduce the impact of declining and unstable copper ore grades, the mineral processing plant needs to continuously adjust the dosage and dosing regimen of reagents according to the current process conditions. However, the current automatic dosing system, due to its low level of automation, poor dosing accuracy, and limited range of dosage adjustment, struggles to meet production needs. Based on the good application of the automatic dosing system developed by the BGRIMM Technology Group Co., Ltd. in multiple mines nationwide, the technicians of the BGRIMM Technology Group Co., Ltd. are invited for a site visit. According to the local ore characteristics and reagent features, a set of automatic dosing system is developed. After the dosing system is put into use, all indicators fully met the production requirements, generating significant economic benefits for the mineral processing plant.
