国内外不同产地方解石矿物的紫外荧光特征研究

    UV fluorescence in calcite from different origins in China and foreign countries

    • 摘要: 通过对中国地质博物馆收藏的国内外多个不同产地的典型方解石标本开展紫外荧光研究,发现具有不同的紫外荧光特征。利用便携式XRF分析仪对具有荧光效应的方解石标本开展成分测试分析,探究紫外荧光产生的原因。经研究,方解石的紫外荧光特征是由于含有微量元素和内部结构有关,特别是与微量元素(Mn、Ce等)类质同象替代钙元素相关。通过对比分析不同产地方解石标本的发光性,结合方解石标本的具体产地信息,可以研究不同矿床的成矿环境。方解石等荧光矿物的发光性研究有助于矿物学、地质学等领域研究,在荧光找矿、荧光材料制备等方面具有利用前景。

       

      Abstract: By conducting UV fluorescence research on typical calcite specimens from various localities collected by the Geological Museum of China, it has been observed that these specimens exhibit various fluorescence characteristics. Using aportable X-ray fluorescence(XRF) spectrometer to analyze the composition of fluorescent calcite specimens, aiding in exploring the cause of UV fluorescence. This research indicates that the UV fluorescence characteristics of calcite are related to its trace element content and internal structure, especially concerning the isostructural substitution of calcium by trace elements such as manganese(Mn) and cerium(Ce). Comparative analysis of the luminescence of calcite specimens from different locations, combined with specific information about their place of origin, can contribute to the study of ore-forming environments in different deposits. Studies on the luminescence of calcite and other fluorescent minerals are beneficial for research in fields such as mineralogy and geology. They have potential applications in areas like fluorescent exploration for minerals and preparation of fluorescent materials.
