新疆哈密牛毛泉铁矿工艺矿物学研究

    Study on process mineralogy of Niumaoquan Iron Mine in Hami, Xinjiang

    • 摘要: 以新疆哈密牛毛泉铁矿为研究对象,借助光学显微镜、化学分析、矿物自动图像分析系统(MLA)和电子探针(EPMA)等分析测试手段,对矿区岩矿样品开展了工艺矿物学研究,查明了矿石的物质组成及含量、结构构造、有价元素铁和钛的赋存状态及其原生嵌布特征等内容,旨在为该矿中有价元素的综合回收利用提供支撑。研究结果表明,该矿石属基性岩浆岩型磁铁矿-钛铁矿矿石,原矿中主要有价元素为铁和钛,铁主要以磁铁矿形式存在,钛主要以钛铁矿形式存在。矿石中磁铁矿与钛铁矿密切共生,部分磁铁矿内部可见赤铁矿和黄铁矿。钛铁矿内部常包裹细粒榍石和金红石,此外还可见钛铁矿与褐铁矿共生。脉石矿物中斜长石、辉石和角闪石等与磁铁矿和钛铁矿共生关系密切,多呈接触共生和包含关系。基于上述工艺矿物学研究,推荐采用重-磁-浮选联合的选矿工艺流程用于有价元素铁、钛的综合回收。

       

      Abstract: Taking the Niumaoquan Iron Mine in Hami, Xinjiang as the research object, a detailed study of process mineralogy is conducted on rock and ore samples in the mining area using optical microscopy, chemical analysis, mineral liberation analyser(MLA), and electron probe microanalysis(EPMA). The material composition and content, structural structure, occurrence state of valuable elements iron and titanium, and their primary disseminated characteristics of the ore are identified, aiming to provide support for the comprehensive recovery and utilization of valuable elements in the ore. The results indicate that the ore belongs to the basic magmatic rock type magnetite-ilmenite ore, and the main valuable elements in the raw ore are iron and titanium. Iron mainly exists in the form of magnetite, and titanium mainly exists in the form of ilmenite. Magnetite and ilmenite are closely coexisting in the ore, and sometimes hematite or pyrite can be seen inside the magnetite. The interior of ilmenite particles often encompass fine-grained sphene and rutile, and it can also be seen that ilmenite coexists with limonite. The gangue minerals such as plagioclase, pyroxene and hornblende are closely associated with magnetite and ilmenite, often exhibiting contact and contain relationships. Based on the above process mineralogical research, it is recommended to adopt a combined heavy magnetic flotation beneficiation process for the comprehensive recovery of valuable elements such as iron and titanium.
