Abstract:
Replace part of the coal in the wet zinc leaching slag thermal recovery process using high-sulfur materials, the advantages are obvious, on the one hand, sulfur combustion produces a large amount of heat to meet the heat demand in the pyrometallurgical production process, reduce coal consumption, reduce the total amount of carbon emissions; on the other hand, sulfur combustion of SO
2 can be used for the production of chemical products such as sulfuric acid, increase the output of by-products, increase profitability, and achieve resource recycling. On the other hand, SO
2 from sulfur combustion can be used to produce chemical products such as sulfuric acid, which increases the output of by-products, improves profitability, achieves resource recycling and reduces production costs. As the country accelerates the process of carbon peak, carbon neutrality process, in the process of pyrometallurgy, the use of other heat sources instead of coal has become an industry trend, how to develop “low carbon economy” in the pyrometallurgy industry, to achieve the goal of low energy consumption, low emissions can be said to be a heavy load and a long way to go. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to carry out the research on the production practice of high-sulfur materials replacing raw coal in the process of thermal recovery and treatment of wet zinc leaching slag.
