Abstract:
The Zangjiazhuang Basin is located in the northeast of Jiaodong. Copper-polymetallic deposits are widely developed here, making it an important polymetallic ore-forming belt in Jiaodong. The Controlled Source Audio-frequency Magnetotelluric (CSAMT) method has the advantages of large exploration depth, high resolution and little influence from the terrain, and it is suitable for the prospecting and prediction research of deposits buried at greater depths. Through carrying out CSAMT work at the Xiangkuang copper-polymetallic deposit on the southern edge of the Zangjiazhuang Basin, combined with the geological conditions of the deposit, and utilizing the resistivity differences between the strata and rock masses, the morphology of the contact zone between the deep rock masses and the surrounding rocks of the Xiangkuang deposit has been inferred. The results of drilling are consistent with the interpretation results of CSAMT, achieving significant prospecting results. CSAMT method can serve as an effective exploration method for copper-polymetallic deposit exploration in this area.
