山西金山铝土矿地质特征及成矿规律

    Geological characteristics and metallogenic laws of Shanxi Jinshan Bauxite Deposit

    • 摘要: 山西地区铝土矿矿体通常赋存于中石炭统本溪组,呈现不连续分布。通过钻探工程揭露了预查区发育有铝土矿体,但铝土矿体厚度存在差异,部分钻孔未见矿体。为了解该预查区铝土矿的矿体分布特征及成矿物源与成矿环境,本研究利用钻孔资料、样品分析化验结果,结合该地区的地质背景、地层特征对该地区矿体展布、矿石特征、成矿物源等进行了探讨研究。研究区铝土矿体呈似层状分布,但含矿岩系受奥陶系古岩溶地貌的影响,在空间展布上都有一定的变化。区内矿石的Al2O3含量为57.23%,矿物主体为一水硬铝石,表现为不规则的碎屑状、凝块状等,自然类型可分为致密状铝土矿、粗糙状铝土矿、碎屑状铝土矿、鲕状铝土矿。该区铝土矿其成矿物质主要源自基底奥陶系碳酸盐岩,成因可归类为碳酸盐岩古风化壳型矿床。

       

      Abstract: Bauxite ore bodies in Shanxi are usually found in the Middle Carboniferous Benxi Formation, showing a discontinuous distribution. Through the drilling project, it is revealed that there is a bauxite ore body in the pre-survey area, but there are differences in the thickness of the bauxite ore body, and no ore body is found in some drill holes. In order to understand the ore body distribution characteristics, mineralization source and metallogenic environment of bauxite in a pre-survey area. In this study, the ore body distribution, ore characteristics, and mineral-forming sources in the area are discussed and studied by using the borehole data, sample analysis and laboratory results, combined with the geological background and stratigraphic characteristics of the area. The bauxite ore body in the study area is distributed in layers, but the ore-bearing rocks are affected by the Ordovician paleokarst landform, and there are certain changes in the spatial distribution. The Al2O3 content of the ore in the area is 57.23%. The main body of the mineral is diaspore monohydrate. It is manifested as irregular debris, clots, etc. The natural types can be divided into dense bauxite, coarse bauxite, clastic bauxite, and oolitic bauxite. The bauxite ores in this area are mainly derived from basal Ordovician carbonate rocks, and their genesis can be classified as carbonate paleoweathering crust calcite-lateritic deposits.
