Abstract: A new oil-bearing depression has been discovered in the east of the Junggar Basin. This is Jinan Depression, and the second member of Permian Jingjingzigou Formation is a very important oil-bearing series in the block. In this study, a brief introduction is given to the Permian Jingzigou Formation in the Satan Block, analyzing the reservoir characteristics factors that affect sand body connectivity, and further exploring the exploration directions related to sand body connectivity, which has guiding significance for oil and gas development.
