Abstract: Supply-side structural reform is a new measure to promote national economic stability and healthy development,the policies not only affect all aspects of the economic sphere,but also have a strong significance in the reform and development of various industries.The 13 th Five Year is the deadline of institutions reform,for state-owned geological prospecting units,due to being affected at sliding of geological prospecting economy,structural adjustment of geological prospecting financial investment,uncertainty of supporting reform policy,the trend of classification reform appears diversified and public.This paper combines with supply-side structural reforms connotation,regarding classification status of state-owned geological prospecting units as cutting point,summarizing some problems faced by the stateowned geological prospecting units,such as limited supply service,insufficient supply service capabilities,imperfect in supply and services market,providing relevant advices and suggestions,such as expanding service areas,enhancing service capabilities,determining positioning service.
