Abstract: According to the theory of the Comparative Advantage, this paper used the quantitive indexes to analyze the mineral resources industry of Shandong province and drew a conclusion that it has the comparative advantage. And then, the paper summarized some problems in mineral resources industry development. At last, based on the theory of the competitive advantage, the paper puts forward some advice for mineral resources industry development of Shandong province.
